God is always Holy (set apart, separate, unique)

Rev. 20:11-15 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books… Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.

God loves like a good father
God’s love is merciful
Ephesians 2:3-5 All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.
God’s Love Takes the Initiative
1 John 4:10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
Rom 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
God’s Love is Persistent
ISA 49:15-16 “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me.
God’s Love is Faithful and Secure
2TI 2:13 If we are faithless, he will remain faithful, for he cannot disown himself.
Rom. 8:38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
God loves as an anticipating groom
God’s Love is full of Delight
Ps. 17:8 Keep me the apple of your eye
Ps. 18:19 He rescued me, because He delighted in me
Psalm 27:10 Even if my father and mother abandon me, the Lord will hold me close.
Psalm 18:19 He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me.
Ps. 145:4-5 For the Lord takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with victory. Let his faithful people rejoice in this honor and sing for joy on their beds.
Rev. 19:6-8 Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting: “Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.” (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God’s holy people.)
