The Fall brought… Emotional Brokenness, Spiritual Brokenness, Relational Brokenness, Physical Brokenness, Creation Brokenness
Promise/Covenant One: evil will be defeated by one person
Thus the word B’rit (Covenant) implies the shedding of blood in the process of ratifying an agreement. – Hebrew dictionary
Promise Two: our spiritual relationship with God can be restored through faith
Ex. 19:3-6 Then Moses climbed the mountain to appear before God. The Lord called to him from the mountain and said, “Give these instructions to the family of Jacob; announce it to the descendants of Israel… Now if you will obey me and keep my covenant, you will be my own special treasure from among all the peoples on earth; for all the earth belongs to me. And you will be my kingdom of priests, my holy nation.’

Heb. 9:20-22 Blood confirms the covenant God has made with you. And in the same way, he sprinkled blood on the Tabernacle and on everything used for worship. In fact, according to the law of Moses, nearly everything was purified with blood. For without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness.
Moral Laws
By falling short of perfection, we realize we need forgiveness and God’s grace
