For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many (Matt. 20:28)
We serve a serving God
The greatest among you must be a servant (Matt. 23:11)
Eternal things are accomplished
Nothing outlasts Forever
God rewards us for service
Matt. 6:19-21 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also
Not everyone gets the same rewards in heaven

Our rewards in heaven will be ours, forever

Matt. 25:14-15 It will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his wealth to them. To one he gave five bags of gold, to another two bags, and to another one bag, each according to his ability.
Matt. 25:21 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’
Faithfully serving with what you have, multiplies what you will been given
What we do with what is given to us is tremendously important to God
God has left his most precious mission to humans, to reach and transform
It’s up to us
1 Cor. 12:5-7 There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.
Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.
Serving God is an act of worship that comes with rewards
1 Corinthians 15:58 So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.
Five minutes after we have died we will know exactly how we should have lived.
To be the most inviting and accessible church for those on the way
