Welcome to the COTR Kids Ministry!
We want your children to feel just as loved and connected at Church on the Rock as Mom and Dad do. Our children’s director and volunteers aim to reach children for Christ and see transformation in their lives through age-appropriate, creative, and safe activities. We’re passionate about raising children to know Jesus in a way that is both fun and educational. We know that the spiritual formation of your children is a huge responsibility, and we want to help. It doesn’t have to be hard — and you don’t have to do it alone.
We ensure your children are safe when they’re in our hands: all of our volunteers have undergone an application process, including background checks. Our children’s ministry team loves children, loves Jesus, and can’t wait to meet you! For more information, visit us on Sunday mornings or contact our Children’s Director, Nancy Jongeling .
We are excited to be able to offer your children (newborn-Grade 5) an amazing children’s ministry experience throughout the year.

Kids Summer Quest
Early Years (JK/SK)
Children start to ask questions about God and learn right from wrong at a young age. We want these little ones to learn in a way that they understand that they can trust God’s word for life’s answers, taught through exciting bible stories and play.
Keeping your little ones safe and content is our main goal, so you can enjoy the service without worry. Sign them in before service with info about their needs, and we will care for your wee ones until you return.
Kids Rock (Gr. 1-5)
Elementary aged children learn that we can trust God through a mix of games, crafts, and building on friendships with peers and leaders. Kids will learn that God is everything!
Kids Adventure Club
second and fourth tuesdays, sept-may
Kids from SK-Grade 5 are invited to join us every other Tuesday at the Church on the Rock Building from 6:30-8:00 p.m. We do a community bus pick-up each week, and so your children will join others from the area for crafts, games, and Bible stories to continue to grow within the church and to grasp an understanding of the importance of church community.
