I’m New

We’re glad you’re here.

Church on the Rock is a place for people on their way to God. Wherever you’re at on that journey, you’re welcome to join us.

Online Services

We’re live-streaming our Sunday morning services at 10:15 am each week via our COTR Facebook Group. You do not need a Facebook account to view the live videos.

What can I expect during the online service?

The livestream begins counting down at 9:45 am. At 10 am, our stream hosts a special message for elementary aged kids. Our online service for adults begins at 10:15 am with a timely update on coming events, and a chance to connect with each other via the chat. We move into a message from Pastor Dave, followed by a period of worship and concluding with a chance for live question and answers. The online format allows us to dive into your thoughts and reflections on the sermon.

Following the service, we invite you to connect face-to-face with others in the community over Zoom. You can find the Zoom link posted in the livestream on Sunday morning.

In Person Services

Once we re-open for gatherings, we will be meeting on Sunday mornings. Bring a friend. Let’s figure this out together.

What can I expect during the live service?

We start with a short set of worship music to shift our focus onto God from the busyness of the week. Kids and Junior high students are released to their classes. We celebrate stories of what God is doing in our community. Pastor Dave gives a message in his warm, personal style for about half an hour, and we bookend the service with a more reflective second set of worship.

What do you have for my kids?

Childcare is available for infants through Grade 5 during both of our weekend services. Make sure you visit the Kids Info Centre in the lobby to sign your child in and out.

Do I have to dress up to attend?

Come as you are. You’ll see shorts and hats alongside collared shirts and skirts – God loves us where we’re at.

What do you have for junior and senior high students?

On Sundays, we encourage high school students to attend weekend services, serve on teams, and everything else we encourage their parents to do. Grade 6-8 students are invited to join us for Rush, a space for them to connect with God with age-focused messages and activities. During the week, Adrenaline (Grade 6-8) meets on Wednesday nights from 7-9 pm, and Ignite (Grade 9-12) runs on Fridays from 7-9 pm.
