Coronavirus Response

United at Heart, Even Apart

The COTR Staff, Finance and Vision Teams are continuing to pray and work through our COVID-19 Ministry Plan. Our desire in this is to be a responsible community member with respect to social distancing while at the same time continuing to be a church family that is there for each other and the larger community as well. Thank you for your gracious support as we work through this new reality. Here is a summary of our plan going forward.

Sunday Mornings:

We will continue to live-stream our Sunday morning services at 10:15 am each week via our COTR  Facebook Group. You do not need a Facebook account to view the live videos.

Children and Youth:

Weekly student ministries at a distance have concluded for the school year. We will be hosting summer events for youth and distance Kids Camp this year – be sure to sign up for the e-update and join our Facebook Group for details.

Small Groups:

Summer small groups are launching with a combination of live-streamed and small in-person gatherings. Contact Pastor Andrew for more information.

Care Ministry:

Our Care Ministry Team will continue to be of service to people especially during this challenging time. If you are interested in being involved in this ministry and/or are aware of special needs (especially within our church family) please contact our Care Director Jon Strand.

Thank you for your faithful giving during this unsettled time! With no in-person services over the next several weeks we would be thankful to receive your offering via mail, e-transfer, Canada Helps as well as pre-authorized giving. Please contact Tina Caissie for assistance with any of these giving streams.

As we walk together as a church family through this uncertain time, let us join each other in being a source of light and peace to those whose path we cross. May we be generous to those in need and have a word of hope ready for those who are afraid or discouraged.
