Coronavirus Response

United at Heart, Even Apart

The COTR Staff, Finance and Vision Teams are continuing to pray and work through our COVID-19 Ministry Plan. Our desire in this is to be a responsible community member with respect to social distancing while at the same time continuing to be a church family that is there for each other and the larger community as well. Thank you for your gracious support as we work through this new reality. Here is a summary of our plan going forward…

Sunday Mornings:

Along with our in-person service, we will continue to live-stream our Sunday morning services at 10:00 am each week via our COTR  Facebook Group. You do not need a Facebook account to view the live videos.

Children and Youth:

Using the safety guidelines from Public Health and rooms available, we are offering in-person kids ministry. This programming will be available at the 10:00 am service for nursery (0-3 years), Early Years (3-5 years) and Elementary (ages 5-10 years). We also offer a Facebook community for parents available here. Kids Adventure Club is on hold.

For our Junior High and High school students, we have programs running at our building on Wednesday (Junior High) and Friday (High school) from 7-9 pm. For more information and/or to sign-up, please check out the Church on the Rock Junior High Facebook page and Church on the Rock IGNITE Facebook.

Be sure to sign up for the e-update and join our Facebook Group for updates on plans for summer ministry opportunities!

Small Groups:

We have several small groups being offered. For more information click HERE.

Care Ministry:

Our Care Ministry Team will continue to be of service to people especially during this challenging time. If you are interested in being involved in this ministry and/or are aware of special needs (especially within our church family) please contact our Care Director, Jon Strand.

Giving:

Thank you for your faithful giving during this unsettled time! We would be thankful to receive your offering via mail, e-transfer (gifts@churchontherock.ca—no password required), Tithe.ly, as well as through pre-authorized giving. Please contact Tina Caissie for assistance with any of these giving streams.

As we walk together as a church family through this uncertain time, let us join each other in being a source of light and peace to those whose path we cross. May we be generous to those in need and have a word of hope ready for those who are afraid or discouraged.
