Sundays at Church on the Rock exist at the crossroads of innovation, excellence and passion. One week you may experience a drama, the next a dance. One week there will be a worship center with pieces of art the next week there will be a video that will have you laughing out loud. We keep the eternal reality of God fresh through the arts and creativity, yet in everything we aim for excellence. We realize that every thing we do, we do for the King of the universe, who spared no expense for us by sending his only Son. Even though there is video and the arts, this is not a spectator's service. We all participate in the passion of experiencing the presence of God in worship and Word.
Our morning service is the hub of where we gather. There are fun, caring, safe children's and Junior High programs for your little ones. You will find that we have a young, relaxed environment, come as you are. We honor the arts through and excellent music, videos, graphics, dramas and dance which we hope will add to your experience with us. Our messages are always Biblically based and valuable to your everyday life. There is something of value for that week in our messages. Every week we craft services that will leave you wanting more. Calvin Christian School is home to our morning service.
The Alternative is an area wide worship service for high school and university students that takes place on the second Sunday night of each month of the school year. This service has been reaching our area's young adults since 1993, with people from many different church groups participating. We have a lot of fun here, with contests, videos, dramas, big sound, lights and excellent worship. Every service there is a transforming message and the Good News is explained.
